Coordinator Shipping & Receiving

Job summary:

You play a key role in coordinating all incoming and outgoing shipments across various transport modes, including air, road, and courier services. You ensure that every shipment is accurately processed in SAP and scheduled on time with the appropriate carrier.

As a Coordinator Shipping & Receiving, you guarantee seamless logistics through precision, accountability, and proactive communication. You maintain close collaboration with the Customer Service team, the warehouse, and our transport partners to ensure efficient and reliable delivery. With your knowledge of processes and systems, you are equipped to handle complex logistics challenges and provide optimal solutions within established guidelines.

Your responsibilities:

Your independent tasks include:

• Calculating road transport and courier costs
• Processing packed orders in SAP, including invoicing
• Preparing documents such as CMR and EX-A
• Registering shipments with various carriers
• Booking weekly shipments with carriers
• Arranging transport for return shipments

Under the guidance of the Team Leader Shipping:

• Calculating air transport costs and processing export shipments
• Preparing certificates of origin and legalized invoices
• Registering air freight shipments
• Processing credits and debits in SAP
• Coordinating SGS inspections
• Coordinating incoming air freight shipments

What do we ask of you? 

• Administrative education at a minimum MBO-4 level or equivalent work and thinking level
• Willingness to complete relevant courses (e.g., Security Awareness, Customs Declarant 1)
• Proactive attitude and ability to respond efficiently to the needs of internal and external customers
• Knowledge of SAP is an advantage
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team
• Production-oriented and quality-conscious mindset
• Proactive approach to suggesting improvements
• Flexibility in job responsibilities and work schedule
• Accurate and systematic working style
• Strong communication skills and good command of Dutch and English
• Willingness to work overtime when agreed upon
