What will you do?

Job summary:

The Global Product Manager owns part of the Regal Rexnord Conveying product portfolio. This includes managing the product portfolio to achieve profitable growth throughout its life cycle, using new product development and focusing on key products.
Executing and realizing performance in the product line is based on customer input, differentiation from competition and relevance to our target group; as well as creating or improving tools, training and communications for existing products used by our sales team.

You will collaborate with various departments, such as marketing, engineering, operations and commercial teams, to identify unmet customer needs and translate them into solid product requirements that compellingly add value. You are responsible for the quality, costs and delivery of your product portfolio. You will be responsible for various aspects of your assigned product portfolio and lead the execution of profitable growth.

Your responsibilities:

  • Aims for profitable growth throughout the life cycle of your product portfolio;
  • Responsible for the success of projects and budgets, while being the single point of contact within the organization for new product development;
  • Challenges traditional thinking to ensure work is always structured in the most effective way to achieve project goals;
  • Understands the competitive landscape, gathers voice of customer input and conducts specific research projects to support the product planning process and the development of unique value propositions;
  • Works closely with engineering to implement new product development projects and increase vitality;
  • Utilizes new product development and value engineering (VAVE) as growth and margin improvement tools;
  • Establishes project priorities and tradeoffs to produce an actionable roadmap and realistic product release cycles;
  • Ensures our commercial teams have solution-oriented, compelling value propositions to deliver best-in-class support to our customers.

What do we ask of you?

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Business Administration and knowledge of the consumer goods sector;
  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant B2B product management and new product marketing/commercialization experience in the industrial manufacturing sector;
  • Willingness to travel 30%.
