Teamlead Assembly

Job summary:

You play a key role in executing the production plan. Under the guidance of the Production Manager, you ensure that planned activities are completed accurately and on time, using the designated systems and by leading your team.

As Team Leader Assembly, you combine operational leadership with administrative responsibilities. You coordinate daily assembly processes, motivate your team, and maintain accurate documentation to guarantee efficient and high-quality production.

Your responsibilities:

• Overseeing the production process and machines, ensuring efficient use of people, resources, and materials.
• Monitoring proper use of equipment and compliance with safety and environmental regulations (6S, HSE).
• Identifying and resolving process disruptions, initiating improvements, and participating in improvement meetings.
• Reviewing daily results and orders, managing shortage lists, and coordinating with Planning/Shipping/Molding.
• Leading, instructing, and motivating employees and temporary staff; ensuring onboarding and training.
• Managing staffing, time registration, and collecting performance dataLeading daily VDM meetings and attending OTD meetings.
• Preparing improvement plans, capacity and staffing schedules (including weekend/night shifts), and maintaining the skills matrix.
• Checking and distributing “spike” orders and preparing weekly order overviewsConducting MY/EY reviews and participating in overhead meetings for process improvement.
• Ensuring a safe workplace, reporting hazards via QR tool, and addressing unsafe behavior.

Additionally, you conduct meetings with your team members under the guidance of the Production Manager.

Special conditions

• You work in a noisy environment.
• You work with high-risk machines and tools.
• Outside working hours, you are available by phone for production, alternating with the Production Manager.

What do we ask of you?

• Education at a minimum MBO 4 level or equivalent work and thinking level.
• Some leadership skills required, preferably in a production environment.
• Ability to work effectively in a team.
• Helicopter view: able to oversee the entire process and focus on multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Production-oriented and quality-conscious mindset.
• Accurate, systematic working style and strong prioritization skills.
• Stress-resistant.
• Strong communication skills and good command of Dutch and English.
• Willingness to work overtime when agreed uponFull-time and flexible availability (1 FTE).
• Willingness to attend training courses.
